I've been very good this year, @polyvore. As well as a near constant babysitter for my sister and her three boys around the clock.
I'm not saying that I deserve something this year, but it would be nice :)
1.) The main reason why I would want an iPad mini, would be because of the fact that it really would come in handy. I am an author, I write and I do not like to use a pen and paper all of the time, I like to type up my stories on a device, (since I am so often on the go), and then later transfer it onto my computer whenever I get the chance to do so. Aside from that, I also bake, and create cakes (specialty cakes, like on Cake Boss), for friends and family members alike.
Sketching out my ideas on the iPad mini would be ideal for me, I could use an application such as "SketchBook Pro," to sketch and or draw out my cake design ideas. It would be easier than on paper, since I could erase faster and make cleaner and more distinct markings on the iPad application.
2.) The "Purple Prada Tote," this isn't for me, believe it or not, if I do end up winning and if I do end up winning this tote out of all of the items on my list, then this will be awarded to my hard working mother. Not only is her favorite color purple, but this year she really does deserve something special. I can't afford to buy her a real Prada bag, and she is absolutely obsessed with brand name bags, purses and totes. Receiving this tote this year would mean the world to her. She does enough for me, I thought that it was about time that I really pay her back, with something that is almost just as pretty and perfect as she is.
3.) The "Charmed LIMITED EDITION DVD BOX SET" is a must have for me. I have been a longtime fan of the series "Charmed," and if the people at @polyvore were to pick this for me, I would be just as pleased as anything else on this list. The Limited Deluxe Edition comes with (or rather IN) an exact replica of The Book Of Shadows, on the hit television series. Though with one exception, the DVDs for each season are placed within the pages of the book. It makes for a rather interesting collection.
4.) Plasma Screen Television. This is also something for my mother as well as my self, this time around. If I won this television I would place it in my bedroom, since as of right now we only have on television in the whole entire house, and as you can well imagine, having one tv can become rather irritating every now and again. We watch different things, and sometimes we have shows that we want to watch that come on at the SAME EXACT TIME, which either means that one of us (mostly myself) has to give up their slot, or we have to record it, which ends up taking a lot of unavailable recording space.
5.) The iPad (3 or 4). This was so that I would have a higher chance of getting one of the two iPads. This iPad would be put in use for the same reason as the miniature one. Not only did I add the iPad Mini on the list just for the higher chance, but I also added it because I love how that one is at a more reasonable size. Either way, both iPads would be in white, and I would be pleased with either one that I would receive, if any at all.
6.) Last but not least, a one thousand dollar, Barnes And Noble Gift Card! I LOVE, love, love to read, almost as much as I love to be here on Polyvore.
Reading is one of the few things that I turn to when I have no where else to turn. I find a specific comfort in reading that I do nowhere else. It is my own personal escape, I can let my mind wonder along with the characters of the book if that said book is fiction, or I could allow for my mind to wonder in a completely different type of way, in non-fiction material.
I love books, period, which is why this gift card would be the -perfect- gift, for a writer as well as a reader such as myself.
At the end of the day I will accept any if at all the gifts that @polyvore would choose from my set, for me to receive. Though honestly, I am hoping to win the bag. Of course I would like something for myself, but my mother deserves a present of such a high quality more than I do.
